Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday featuring real food recipes, natural health remedies, DIY, crafts, Gardening Tips, and more...

Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop!

It’s hard to believe it’s the last week of February. Where has this winter gone? The last couple weeks have been unseasonably warm for us, so I’m looking forward to a cool down this weekend. I dread to see what this summer is going to be like if it’s going to start getting into the 90s in February.

My focus this week has been on getting everything set up for bigger and better things. I dropped our paperwork off with the accountant for our taxes. I’m gathering information for vaccinating our pigs so we can start breeding again. I’m figuring out finances so we can build bigger and better pens for the animals. I’m planning to make 2018 a big year for our farm, but a lot of little pieces have to fall into place to make it all happen. The key is to keep focused on the goal without drowning in details. Wish me luck!

Now on to the hop…

Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday and is for all things homesteading: real food recipes, farm animals, crafts, DIY, how-to’s, gardening, anything from-scratch, natural home/health, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, natural remedies, essential oils, & more! Basically anything related to homesteading.
