Homestead Blog Hop | The Easy Homestead (.com)

Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop Y’all…

I’m in Ohio with the kiddos this week while Hubby is holding down the fort at home.  So far, his texts to me have included a need for a large, strong drink and a request for us to come home early.

Only part of that stress may be the result of the 25+ chicks that hatched since I’ve been gone.  Our first batch of Barnevelder and Australorp chicks have hatched, and I can’t wait to get home and see their fuzzy butts.  We also have Saxony ducklings and bantam Barnevelder chicks hatching next week.  I love this time of year.

Now on to the hop…

Homestead Blog Hop will take place every Wednesday and is for all things homesteading: real food recipes, farm animals, crafts, DIY, how-to’s, gardening, anything from-scratch, natural home/health, self-sufficiency, self-reliance, natural remedies, essential oils, & more! Basically anything related to homesteading.

Bonnie was raised in a small farming village in central Ohio where she was active in 4-H and FFA. She grew up surrounded by a large family who taught her how to can, garden and cook from scratch. Now living in Florida and raising two outrageous kids, Bonnie is running the family farm where they raise chickens, ducks, goats, pigs and horses. She also enjoys teaching her kids how to live off of the land, appreciate God’s creation, and live a simpler life.
