I love this banana bread recipe.  The sour cream makes it super moist.  You can do it with or without the cinnamon and sugar in the pan.  It does make the bread a little more sticky, but it also makes it that much sweeter.  If you choose to omit that step, dust the pan with flour instead.

1 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 ripe banana
4 oz sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 c. 2 Tbsp flour

Preheat oven to 325.  Grease a 7″x3″ loaf pan.  In a small bowl, stir together 1 Tbsp sugar and 1/4 tsp cinnamon.  Dust pan lightly with mixture.  In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream butter and 3/4 c. sugar.  Mix in egg, banana, sour cream, vanilla & cinnamon.  Mix in salt, baking soda & flour.  Bake 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
